We are a true family business, Captain Jeff is the Leader, with his up and coming teenage sons deck handing and taking on as many responsibilities as possible each season.
We choose to fish for all species using equipment and techniques that make sport fishing FUN. Jigging for everything in the saltwater, swinging spoons in the streams and casting to Trout in the lakes. Allowing Clients to hold the poles, and feel the 'bite' is what it’s all about.
Using as light as practical equipment makes for an enjoyable day on the water.
I can honestly say that oversized equipment and pole holders is the norm on most charters I've been on, taking the sport right out of the day :(
Make no mistake, we employ Top Quality Fishing equipment sized appropriately for the fish we encounter. We hand build 95% of the lures we use daily. Customized thru years of experience to maximize our effectiveness.
All my saltwater jig rods are purpose built by Penn for Jigging, Reels are matched PENN with lever drags. New for 2026. I run 50# setups and 65# setups. Lever drag two-speed set ups!
It makes a tremendous difference in the day to fish with top quality equipment!
